The Golden Ticket Weekend

Globe Business College Munich is a private business college in Munich that was founded in 2006 to create a unique educational experience for a niche group of students: the sons and daughters of Mittelstand or family company owners around the world. Students graduate with an accredited business degree, but the real value in our education is the unique exchange process that takes students out of their comfort zone and develops their character and skill. Through customised education that is centered on personalised coaching and mentoring, students learn how to step out of their comfort zone and develop the 5 skills needed for life and the real world of business: bigger picture thinking, communication, passion/grit, time management, and empathetic exchange.

Powered by the college’s unique relationship-based educational model, the Golden Ticket Weekend is a distilled version of what we do at the degree level. The experience takes students off their phones, out of their comfort zone, and creates awareness of the need for ongoing character and skill development in a world increasingly driven by tech. Procrastination, perfectionism, lack of focus, motivation or self-confidence are all explored under the guidance of expert mentors and coaches so the participants personally develop.

Parents: You would love customised feedback. Wouldn't you?

As a parent, you know how hard it is to balance the expectations of the old world with the new and how to support your child in this very dynamic environment we live in, especially when technology drives change at the pace it does.

From our work with young people since 2006, both at the college level and as part of the Golden Ticket Programme, we have seen the rise of character issues like procrastination, perfectionism, lack of self-confidence, demotivation, and limited focus. These traits can hamper the next generation from developing the skills needed for life and achieving academically. We work with young people to awaken them to the importance of ongoing skill and character development. They become more confident, focused, and convinced about what they can accomplish.

We get to know the participants over the course of the Golden Ticket Programme as we observe and work with them on five key skills: time management, bigger-picture thinking, grit and passion, empathic exchange, and communication. We track their journey through the learning experience and are happy to share personalised feedback and insight with parents. If your child took part in the event at ISM and you would like personalised feedback, click the button and we will arrange a call for you with Dr Walsh (who led the Golden Ticket team at the ISM event). Alternatively, contact ISM directly and they will arrange same.
